Emerald City: There’s No Place Like Home
Bozeman Health Foundation ‘s 18th Annual Hospitality dinner and auction,
Emerald City: There’s No Place Like Home, where it will celebrate 20 years since being founded in 1998, will take
place on April 28, 2018 from 6 pm to 11pm in MSU’s Strand Union
Building ballrooms. The evening will feature a gourmet catered dinner,
one-of-a-kind silent and live auction items, a live drive for cash donations,
music and dancing. Oz inspired or Green-Tie formal attire is encouraged.
In addition to focusing on the excitement of Oz and the importance of
accessing great care close to home, this theme will incorporate the green
of emeralds as the traditional 20 year anniversary gift.
Proceeds from this year’s gala will support the construction of a
brand new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital.
Today, Bozeman Health’s outstanding critical care physicians and
nurses provide vital, lifesaving medical care in an ICU that was built
in 1986. The hospital’s current ICU has just 8 rooms with each room
being barely 150 square feet in size. Deaconess Hospital’s new ICU
will feature at least 16 “acuity adaptable” rooms of 300 square
feet each. This will enable physicians to treat a growing number of critically
ill patients with new equipment, to better accommodate collaboration between
caregivers and to provide greater access to patients for family members
who want and need to be close by.
Reserved seats are $150 each and can be purchased by calling Bozeman Health
Foundation at (406) 414-1085. Early reservations are encouraged for this
